Heading to Richland to Spend the Day with My Son

Taking the Road Less Traveled… at Least by Me.

I had been planning to take the long way round this trip. I had not driven this route for close to 15 years. It seemed like it was time to get out and explore some things and see what has changed.

I left my home at 6:10 AM to make sure I had time to take the slow route and see some things I had not seen in years. I decided to take Chinook and Cayuse pass road around Mt. Rainier.

The weather was overcast as I left, so I was not able to get any pictures of the mountain as I approached or drove around through the passes.
